Computers and information technology magazines catch my attention. Physical exercise is part of my daily routine. I enjoy cycling, playing tennis and cooking. I also like learning new things on my own. Having passed my driving theory test I am looking forward to take the practical test. I can offer commitment, punctuality and reliability. In addition to English I can speak Urdu very well.
Electronics is one of my favourite hobbies. I like setting up experimental circuits. In the past, I have been successful in building two-way intercom, FM speech transmitter, battery charger, burglar alarms and RF guided buggy. Now I am learning to interface electronic eqipment to PC's using RS232 port and the printer port.
In the area of programming, C++ is at the top of my list. Since I started the C & C++ distant learning course, I have enjoyed it very much. I like to apply the same Object Orientation principles in Visual Basic 5. In Visual Basic 5, I am working on my first ActiveX component. This will help users download important web pages without having to visit them one by one and saving manually. It was very encouraging to find out that Java was developed from C. This is why I am also learning Visual Java.
